If you are interested in hosting an international student, or have further questions, please contact Mr. Hugo Chong, Director of Business Operations & International Program, at (847) 375-0600 ext. 432 or hchong@northridgeprep.org.

Important Notes:

  • We will not give financial aid awards until a student has completed and been accepted to Northridge through the admissions process.
  • A family can apply either for a discount or financial aid (but not both). Discounts are subject to change each year.

Types of Financial Aid

Northridge uses need-based financial aid to make attendance possible for as many qualified students as possible. The process of applying for financial aid is separate from applying for admission to the school, because Northridge makes the two decisions independently. Grants of financial aid are based on the family’s financial need. If you would like to apply for financial aid, you should do so at the same time as you apply for admission to the school. Families who apply for financial aid receive priority in request for hosting international students. Learn more about the types of aid we offer below:

Hosting an International Student

Our international program offers tuition assistance ranging from $2,800-$11,200 annually (depending on the duration of the student’s stay in your household). Many Northridge families find that by hosting an international student, they do not need to apply for further aid. For more information on hosting an international student, please contact Mr. Hugo Chong, International Program Director, at (847) 375-0600 ext. 432 or hchong@northridgeprep.org.
