These aren’t the rockets you launched in a field as a kid!

Why Advanced Rocketry Camp?

Take your student’s curiosity to new heights… literally! The Advanced Rocketry Camp immerses students in the exciting world of High-Power Rocketry, where rockets soar miles into the sky at speeds exceeding Mach 3.

This isn’t just about launching rockets, it’s about learning the science, engineering, and responsibility that come with high-performance flight. Under expert guidance, students will:

  • Use professional rocket design and simulation software to plan their High-Power Rocketry flights.
  • Learn the science behind successful rocket launches and flights.
  • Gain an understanding of the Design, Build, Fly process.
  • Explore the laws, safety protocols, and certification requirements that govern high-power launches.
  • Work in Small Teams to build and launch high-power rockets.

By the end of the camp, participants will have gained hands-on experience and acquired the foundational knowledge necessary to pursue the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) Junior High-Power Level One certification, a nationally recognized milestone in the rocketry community that enables them to legally launch high-powered rockets.

This camp is perfect for students ready to move beyond hobby rockets and experience the thrill of true aerospace engineering in action.
