Mr. Lipscomb spent the last 25 years as an executive working for high-tech companies in California. He began his career doing research at Motorola and then moved to California where he has worked at companies ranging from the Fortune 100 to Startups.

Tom feels fortunate to have joined Northridge not only because of the mission, vision, and opportunity to work with the rest of the staff and teachers, but because it has also allowed him to take his passion for golf and high-power rocketry and share his expertise with students. Tom and Cathy have two children, Anna who is studying public policy at Harvard, and Pearse who is studying Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly SLO.
