20 Knights Named Illinois State Scholars: Most in School History

Northridge is proud to congratulate 20 seniors who have been named 2026-27 Illinois State Scholars, the most in school history!

The Illinois State Scholar program, administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, publicly recognizes graduating high school seniors who possess superior academic potential. To earn the distinction, students must perform in the top half of their class at the end of their junior year and score at or above the 95th percentile on the ACT or SAT. Approximately 10% of all Illinois high school graduates are named State Scholars each year, making this a highly competitive honor.

Congratulations to the following seniors: Luke Ahne, Luke Broemmelsiek, Noah Echavez, Eamon Faherty, Matthew Feltes, Anthony Fragola, Max Herbster, Ryan Holler, Tanner Johnson, Peter Kipp, Jake Krause, Joseph Kurkowski, Peter Kurkowski, Michael Kurt, Steven Litsos, Carl Mazzone, George McShane, Michael Nenadovich, Michael Reiff, and Paul Stepansky.

This honor is a testament to the hard work of these young men and the teachers and families who have supported them. Way to go, Knights!
