Welcome to the Team, Mr. Ben Rahimi ’08!
We are happy to announce the newest Knight to our faculty: Mr. Ben Rahimi ’08! Mr. Rahimi will be taking over as our Remote Learning Coordinator and has offered to be our new Director of Summer Programs as well! Here’s a little more about him:
Mr. Ben Rahimi is a graduate of Northridge’s class of 2008. After high school, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and graduated with a degree in Accountancy. After graduation he worked for one year at a tax and business advisory consulting firm in Chicago. Realizing that the corporate world might not be where he was called, he entered formation for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chicago at Mundelein Seminary. Upon completing his Masters in Philosophy and Religious Studies he was asked to go to Rome to complete his theological studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University where he received his Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology, where he wrote his thesis on the role of doubt in the life of faith in the writings of Cardinal Ratzinger and St. John Henry Newman. While abroad, Mr. Rahimi had the pleasure of living in Thailand for three months teaching English and working with children with disabilities with the Fr. Ray Foundation. In his free time, Ben enjoys writing, cooking, reading and is an avid fan of Catholic podcasts.
