Northridge’s summer golf camp aims to grow your son’s love for the game of golf. The camp covers lessons on course etiquette, full swing technique, short game strategies, and putting practice. Fun games, drills, and prizes will ensure the boys have fun as they develop their golf game. On the final day of camp, the boys will test their new skills on the course in a nine hole outing.
John Powell ‘07. Northridge Varsity Golf Coach Coach Powell was an All-State golfer in high school and continues to play competitive amateur golf. Recent tournament appearances for Coach Powell include the Illinois Open, the Chicago Open and the Illinois State Amateur Championship. In the past four years he has coached two state finalists including a Division I collegiate golfer and multiple sectional qualifying teams.
Mr. Egan, father and coach of two state qualifying golfers, as well as a current collegiate player, will assist Coach Powell.
Where? Camp will be held at Golf Center of Des Plaines (subject to confirmation)
What’s Included? Camp fee includes daily range balls, nine hole greens fee, and prizes.
Registration Limits. Registration is on first-come first-served basis. We will take the first 15 golfers.
