Have you ever wanted to be on stage, star in a play or movie or …. just learn how to act for the fun of it? Did you ever dream that you could be a great performer, if you just had the chance? Well here it is at last….. your opportunity to be part of a small scale production built from the ground up.
In this camp, boys will learn how to act, sing, memorize lines and go through the rigors of the audition process. They will be taught how to project their voices and command the stage like professional actors.
Through drama and singing, students will develop confidence, memory and creativity, all the while working as a team. All participants will then receive parts in the final camp dramatic/musical production, a simplified version of the musical “Zorro”.
As William Shakespeare said, “All the world is a stage”. The great playwright was right for: the skills of confidence, public speaking and memorization developed as an actor and singer will help young men in virtually any profession they may eventually choose.
