Students Attend Lumen Christi Conference at Mundelein

Last week a Northridge contingent attended the Lumen Christi Numen Forum at the beautiful Mundelein Seminary. At the conference, students heard from professor Paolo Carozza from the University of Notre Dame, who gave a presentation on the Catholic history of human rights — explaining how the Catholic commitment to the dignity of the human person is in dialogue with the modern, democratic conception of human rights. After several insightful questions to Professor Carozza from Luka Stanic, Jack Arnold, and Johnny Pugh, the boys discussed the lecture with other Chicagoland students in breakout groups. Following the conferences, the students explored the beautiful Mundelein campus.
