Yearbook/Graphic Design meets to produce the work that ties the entire school year into one document: the Northridge Yearbook. During club meetings, there will be an emphasis on creative problem solving and developing good habits in idea development. The primary purpose of the activity will be to review upcoming time-sensitive assignments as well as to brainstorm innovative features for the 2019-20 yearbook.
Events & Topics
The yearbook design will be completed by the first week of March. The remainder of the year will be dedicated to continued graphic design skill development.
Skills & Benefits
Students will learn the skills of professional book design, editing, and publication. Further, they will have the opportunity to explore the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)–programs that are ubiquitous in the design and publishing communities.
Yearbook/Graphic Design will also host meetings outside of Elective / Activity Period every month for an extended time to finish assignments and particular portions of the book.
