On July 4, 2026, our nation will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Get ready for a night of fun and friendly competition at Northridge’s Parent Trivia Night, this year celebrating America 250! Expect questions spanning U.S. history, pop culture, music, sports, and milestones from 1776 to today. Come dressed in red, white, and blue or channel your favorite era: Founding Fathers, roaring ’20s, or classic Americana. Prizes, laughs, and patriotic spirit guaranteed!
Northridge Trivia Night is all about friendship, fun, and facts.
- Teams are formed consisting of 8-10 people that compete against other teams to win.
- You can sign up as a team or an individual/couple, and we will place you on a team.
- This is a “BYOB” event. Bring your appetite…and an appetizer! Please bring an appetizer and a cooler of your favorite beverages to share with your teammates.
- No electronic devices are permitted during gameplay!
- Water, dessert, paper products, and utensils will be provided.
Current and Former Northridge Parents and their friends, Alumni, Faculty/Staff are welcome to play.
There are 10 categories of 8 questions of varying difficulty (easy, medium, hard).
Questions are posed, and you consult with your team to record a final answer. After each round, the answer sheets are submitted to the judges.
This year’s categories include:
- American Sports
- American Music
- Northridge Trivia
- American Literature
- American Art
- American Inventions
- American Pop Culture
- American Revolution & Beyond
- American Food & Snacks
- Mystery Category (Released at the event!)
Costumes: Encouraged, yet optional. But….there will be a prize for the best-dressed table! Let the theme guide your night by dressing in red, white, and blue or your favorite era: Founding Fathers, roaring ’20s, or classic Americana. Be creative!
No team? No Problem! We can put you on a team. This is a great way to meet people in our Northridge family.
More fun: Please bring cash to participate in our Split-the-Pot games between rounds.
Prizes: There will be three prize categories this year.

- $30 Per Person (up to 10 people per table)
- $275 if you sign up for a Full Table (up to 10 people)
