Parent University

Through lectures, workshops, reading groups and online resources, Parent University provides parents with best practices and practical approaches for navigating the many challenges they face in raising children.

A Resource for Building Noble Young Men

Parent University aims to foster a community of parents who can share ideas, experiences and friendship. We are dedicated to sharing best practices and helpful ideas for raising thoughtful, strong, daring, and kind children.

  • Our in-person events are a space for parents to enjoy a night out, build friendships, and hear intriguing ideas about parenting. All events take place at Northridge Preparatory School in Niles. Childcare will be provided at all Parent University events for $20 regardless of the number of children.
  • Our online resources are a compilation of videos, practical guides, and hand-outs developed for our annual guest lectures.

What Are Events Like?

Parent University events have a casual and friendly tone to facilitate community and friendships between parents. The events are opportunities for parents -- both current Northridge families and their friends -- to enjoy a night out, build friendships, and consider important ideas about parenting together. Wine, cheese, and other refreshments will be served at each event.
