Northridge Welcomes New Faculty Members for the 2025-26 Academic Year

Northridge is excited to introduce the exceptional new faculty members who will be joining us this academic year. These dedicated educators bring impressive credentials, diverse experiences, and a shared commitment to our mission of building men of intellect and character.

John Austin Hatch joins us fresh from the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a double major in Classics and Math. Mr. Hatch will teach 8th Grade Physical Science, 10th Grade Physics, and 11th/12th Latin. A graduate of The Heights School, Northridge’s brother school in Washington D.C., he served as publisher of the student newspaper The Irish Rover and was active in boxing and rock-climbing clubs. His long-held interest in teaching makes him a natural fit for our community.

Colman Rowan comes to us from Hillsdale College with a major in English and minor in journalism. He will teach 7th Grade History and English while co-directing drama with Mr. Lechner. His background includes newspaper editing, work in the President’s office, a cappella singing, and extensive drama experience. His summer youth program work demonstrates his teaching aptitude, and his connections with Northridge alumni at Hillsdale helped draw him to our school.

Nate Suire brings three years of teaching experience from St. Viator High School and will teach 8th Grade American History, 9th Grade Theology, and 12th Grade Theology and Philosophy. A Chicago suburbs native, he studied at Moody Bible Institute before earning his Master of Divinity from Duke University.

We also welcome Fr. Joe Keefe as our new chaplain. A Harvard graduate with a background in art history and architecture, Fr. Joe was ordained in 2017 and has spent recent years in priestly ministry in New York. His warm and approachable nature will serve our students and our entire community well as he joins Fr. Deo, who continues as Assistant Chaplain.

These new faculty members represent the caliber of educators who help make Northridge the extraordinary school it is. Join us in welcoming them to the Northridge community!
