Let’s Welcome Our Newest Transfer Knights

This semester we have welcomed four new Knights to the Northridge family! We are excited to have them join us, and we look forward to these young men enriching our school community this year. Here’s a little more about each new Knight:

• Rufus Kowara (6th grade). Rufus is the son of Maciej and Ellen Kowara. The Kowara family is from Downers Grove and previously attended Kingswood academy and their local public school. Rufus’ interests include: History, Orchestra, and any type of board game he can find. Welcome Rufus!
• Jacob Lau (6th grade). Jacob is the son of Dr. Victor Lau and Dr. Janet Tseng. The Lau family is from Northbrook and previously attended the Science and Arts Academy in Des Plaines. Jacob’s interests include: Math, Hockey, Orchestra, and Swimming. Welcome Jacob!
• Evan Spear (6th grade). Evan is the son of Dr. Bill and Dr. Georgia Spear. The Spear family is from Park Ridge and previously attended the Science and Arts Academy in Des Plaines. Evan’s interests include: Soccer, Computer Coding, Robotics, and Theater/Choir. Welcome Evan!
• Will Ahne (11th grade). Will is the big brother of Luke Ahne (current 7th grader), and comes to us from Maine South, where he excelled in the classroom and on the sport fields. His aspirations are to attend Stanford or Duke, with a special interest in Math. Will is also a 2 sport athlete (hockey and baseball), and is hoping to play for the Knights baseball squad, and continue playing on his club hockey team.
