Fr. Joe was born and raised in Boston, one of eleven children. He graduated from Harvard with a B.A. in Art History in 2004 and spent several years working at an architecture firm in New York. After discerning a vocation to the holy priesthood, he attended seminary in Rome at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, where he earned his Ph.D. in Dogmatic Theology. He was ordained in Rome in 2017.

Since ordination, Fr. Joe has been based in New York, focusing his priestly ministry on working with young people and helping them grow deeper in their Catholic faith, as well as pastoral work at St. Agnes parish. He is also a regular contributor to the 10 Minutes With Jesus podcast.

Starting in 2025, Fr. Joe serves as Chaplain at Northridge and teaches Philosophy and Theology. On a personal level, he delights in sharing his passion for music, which he has developed over the years as a singer.
