About Mr. Garcia
Mr. Garcia grew up in California and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Notre Dame in 2014. After graduating, Mr. Garcia spent three years teaching 7th and 8th grade English, Algebra, PreCalculus, Calculus – and even a history course! – at the minor seminary of the Legionaries of Christ. Mr. Garcia loved his time there and learnt a lot.
He then moved back to California to be near and help his family. Over the next _____ years, Mr. Garcia taught Mathematics and English at two Los Angeles parochial schools. In addition he ran the Student Council and sports at those schools. On the side he earned his Master of Teaching Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University.
Mr. Garcia enjoys playing board games, painting, writing, grilling, and running and is excited to be a part of the Northridge faculty!
