About Coach McCormick
Mike earned his B.S. from Southern Illinois University and his M.A. from DePaul University. He started his career as Athletic Trainer for the St. Louis Cardinals, spending four seasons in minor-league baseball. He then joined DePaul University as Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Sports Medicine, where he worked for eighteen years.
After DePaul, Mike became a founding partner at Athletico Physical Therapy Company, helping grow the business to 350 locations across nine states over twenty-two years. He retired from Athletico in 2017 to get back to what he loves most: working on the sidelines with student-athletes and coaches.
At Northridge, Mike serves as Athletic Trainer and assists with the Boxing Club. Several members of his family have attended Northridge.
