Mr. Foster has been teaching since 2001, most recently as a Latin and Classical Studies instructor at Highlands Latin School in Indianapolis. He earned a B.A. in English Education from Purdue University and a M.A. in Catholic Studies from University of St Thomas.

In his free time, Joe enjoys practicing Taekwondo with his six children, playing upright bass in their family bluegrass band, and keeping honeybees. After more than 20 years in the Indianapolis area, he and his wife, Faye, relocated their family to Chicagoland in August, 2023 in order for Mr. Foster to teach at Northridge and their children to attend Northridge, Willows and Embers.
