Mr. Kestler has been in the teaching profession since 1973. Mr. Kestler was born and raised in Chicago. John has coached for many years at Northridge and was the first coach to bring a Northridge Cross Country team to the State Championship. He and his wife, Sharon, have been married for over 43 years and have raised seven children and eleven grandchildren.
