About Dr. Lothian
Dr. Lothian has been a teacher since 1998. Before coming to Northridge in 2016 he taught at the University of Chicago, where he earned his doctorate in history in 2006, at Indiana University, and at Binghamton University in NY. His research on the Catholic writers of 20th century Britain culminated in a 2009 book published by the University of Notre Dame Press. Jim and his wife Sheila are St. John Cantius parishioners and live on the northwest side with their four children.
