About Mr. McGovern
Mr. McGovern is entering his 27th year as an educator, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. His first 18 years were at Saint Patrick High School, two years as a Business teacher and 16 years as a Counselor and an assistant basketball coach.
He was the director of student services for nine of those years and is now entering his ninth year as our Dean of Students.
He and his wife, Colleen, are both lifetime Chicagoans. They have been married for 40 years and have four children. They are now blessed with three grandchildren and one more on the way.
