Mr. Boyle attended Richwoods High School (their mascot is also the Knights!) in Peoria, Illinois, where he completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2016 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, specializing in neuroscience. During his time at UChicago, he completed research in a developmental cardiology genetics lab, worked as a teaching assistant in a biology lab, and led a theology discussion group. He first connected with Northridge the summer after graduation.

In 2017, Mr. Boyle took a technical support job with Epic, an electronic medical records (EMR) company in Madison, WI. During his time there, he worked with cardiologists across the country, including those at 2 of the top 10 cardiology hospitals in the U.S.: Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s, both located in Boston. Additionally, he taught classes on cardiology billing and software coding, as well as mentoring many new employees.

In 2021, this sustained interest in teaching and mentoring, from his undergraduate days through his corporate work, brought Mr. Boyle back in contact with Northridge, where he teaches chemistry and math. Beyond these, he loves reading, hiking, and dancing, including waltz, salsa, and swing.
