Mr. Mendoza graduated from Princeton University in 2020 with a concentration in Classics, a certificate in Medieval Studies, and significant coursework in theoretical mathematics. His senior thesis analyzed various methods for teaching ancient languages such as Latin and Ancient Greek and advocated for full immersion classes. Mr. Mendoza learned to speak Latin and Greek at the Accademia Vivarium Novum, a school on the outskirts of Rome.

At Northridge, Mr. Mendoza teaches Latin through full spoken immersion using the Polis Method, which the renowned Polis Institute in Jerusalem developed. He also teaches Calculus II, AP Physics I, and String Orchestra.

In his free time, Andre enjoys playing the violin and Spanish guitar, reading, and studying Ancient Greek Literature and Thomas Aquinas.
