Álvaro Vargas is beginning his teaching tenure at Northridge after graduating from Harvard Divinity School with a Masters in Theological Studies on May 2016. He is originally from Mexico and is the youngest of 12 children. He has lived in Chicago his whole life and has been involved with church programs like Charismatic Renewal and catechism, especially within the Latino community. He loves playing sports, mainly soccer and currently coaches his nephew’s U12 soccer team. Alvaro is extremely excited to be part of such a vibrant Catholic school for men as Northridge.
