About Mr. Vargas
Álvaro is originally from Mexico and is the youngest of twelve children. He has lived in Chicago his whole life and earned two B.A. degrees from Loyola University Chicago before completing his M.T.S. at Harvard Divinity School in 2016. He has been deeply involved with church programs like Charismatic Renewal and catechism, especially within the Latino community.
At Northridge, Álvaro teaches Theology and Spanish. In his free time, he loves playing soccer and coaches his nephew’s U12 soccer team.
