Dr. Fagan is the Director of the Marriage and Religion Research Institute (MARRI) at Catholic University in Washington, DC. Prior to launching MARRI, Dr. Fagan spent a decade as Senior Fellow On Family Policy at the Heritage Foundation. He also served for several years at the Family Research Council. In his presentation, Dr. Fagan will approach the difficult subject of pornography using both his experience as a family therapist, and the latest sociological research (Dr. Fagan has a PhD in Sociology). He will discuss the scale of the problem in the US, and the psychological damage pornography does to young men and women. He will also discuss practical insights about how both mothers and fathers can help keep their sons clear of pornography.
The evening will begin at 7:00 PM with Mr. Fagan’s lecture, followed by Q&A, and finish with a wine and cheese reception.
Childcare will be provided.
