THEO 301: Person of Jesus Christ

This semester-long course will guide students through various scenes from the life of Jesus Christ so as to deepen an understanding of Him as He lived among us. In addition to contemplating select passages from The New Testament, students will encounter the writings and reflections of theologians and others who have carefully studied the life of Our Lord. A prominent theme in this course will concern the human heart as the spiritual center of the soul as well as a natural symbol for what is most personal in us. Jesus Christ loved and continues to love us with a human heart, and He does so personally, inviting our friendship, our trust, and our love, as ‘heart speaks to heart.’
