SCI 533-534: AP Biology

This course will follow the AP syllabus and will cover both class and laboratory components. Topics covered in class include cell anatomy, electrophysiology and biochemistry, heredity and genetics, animal biology (with emphasis on humans), evolution and ecology. Lab work includes the completion of the required labs and allows investigation of classic and current lab technique, incorporating computer interfaces, specialized software, and collection of data. The key STEM skills receiving greatest emphasis in this course are collaboration, defining and analyzing systems, forming logical arguments, and data analysis.
