Course Description
In this course, students will apply concepts from chemistry to current problems found in the modern world. Students will explore these problems through discussions, laboratory investigations, teacher demonstrations, and in-class assignments. Topics covered include: mass calculations using the mole concept, rates of chemical reactions, energy and entropy, patterns of reactivity, study of the periodic table, atomic structure, and more.
