SCI 231-232: Biomedical Science

Course Description

Biomedical Science allows students to develop an interest in careers ranging from biological research to medicine through hands-on experiments, presentations from healthcare professionals, and attendance at biomedical workshops and conferences. This course will involve experiments and scientific discussions with students contributing to and participating in conversations and laboratory experiments. In considering a biomedical career, students will be exposed to the various tasks and responsibilities of research scientists and healthcare professionals with some attention given to bioethical case studies.
