Course Description
AP Statistics introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Students study four broad conceptual themes: exploring and analyzing data, planning and conducting statistical studies, probability and random variables, and statistical inference. Students will learn to describe patterns and variability in data, model chance behavior, and make evidence-based conclusions about populations from sample data. The course emphasizes statistical reasoning, communication, and real-world applications, preparing students for the AP Statistics Exam and for future studies in a wide range of quantitative disciplines.
