LATIN 471-472: Latin Literature: Virgil & Classical Authors

Having studied the foundations of Latin vocabulary and grammar in earlier courses, students focus on developing fluency and mastery of the language through immersion in some of the greatest writings in Western civilization. This class involves daily in-class reading, translation, and discussion of historic, classical texts.
