LATIN 311-312: Latin Language & Culture

Course Description
This course will familiarize students with classical authors, elucidate the parallels between the development of language and history, and help students understand and appreciate the origins of Western Culture. The students will read various classical authors, study some Mediterranean history, and be introduced to the origins of Indo-Europeans languages.
