HIST 60: Geography

Course Description
Through this course, Northridge 6th graders become familiar with the countries, regions, major cities, rivers and other important features in the world. They also examine the way geography impacts history, including two units on the American Civil War (where students analyze how geography impacted several battles). Students will also be introduced to the recent histories of the following regions: US & Canada, Eurpe, The Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
