HIST 307-308: American History

Elective

Course Description

This honors-level course will cover the history of the United States from its origins to the present day. Students will study and discuss historical, political, economic, and social themes both domestically and internationally. The course is comprehensive and is broken up into the following periods: Colonial Era to the Foundation of the Federal Government, Andrew Jackson through the Civil War, Industrial Revolution through the 1920s (including WWI), WWII to the Present.
