Overview
Motor Skills is a clinic designed to develop good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills in young athletes. The camp will test your son’s skills and athleticism — putting him on the path towards great athletic achievement.
Why Motor Skills?
In the camp, boys work on their reflexes and the dynamics of catching and passing. Age-appropriate games, drills, and challenges make developing these skills both fun and rewarding. Campers build the following skills:
- Body Balance
- Form Running
- Starting, Stopping, Pivoting
- Passing, Dribbling, Ball-Handling
- Changes of Direction
- Speed
- Jumping
- Lateral Movement
Camp Counsellors
Camp Counselors will be members of the Northridge Basketball program: Assistant Coaches and senior members of the Varsity Basketball squad. They are hardworking, knowledgeable, and carefully selected for their attentiveness to young players.
