Epic Book Club

Category: Enrichment

Do you want your son to experience books in a totally different way and enjoy reading them? The Epic Book Club is meant to make your kids have fun while reading some of the best children’s classics. Besides reading aloud, we will be doing a lot of original and dynamic activities that will make the books come to life.

Why Epic Book Club Camp?

On this occasion, we will read Matilda and George’s Marvelous Medicine, both books written by the extraordinary author Roald Dahl. Campers will read these books during the camp and enact some of the scenes found within each chapter. Activities at the camp related to the stories in the books include:

  • Stacking Books on Eggshells
  • Preparing “Marvelous Medicines”
  • Reenacting Matilda’s pranks
  • Drawing and/or crafting characters
  • Book Scenes vs Movie scenes comparisons
