Overview
The year is 1863. It is the middle of the Civil War. General Meade has only been commander for four days when the epic Battle of Gettysburg starts. General Lee is looking for a decisive victory to save the South. Who will prevail? Together, the class will see and discuss the numerous possibilities that could have changed the war and history.
Why Gettysburg?
Students will learn about men under immense pressure who have to make life and death decisions. The classes will cover tactics, strategy, and leadership.

Dr. Kelliher has taken students to Gettysburg on 25 Civil War trips. He has taught History and Religion at Northridge for 24 years. He has a passion for teaching in energetic and fun ways. His lessons are famous for being engaging, fun, demanding, and rich in content.
