Overview
We designed this camp to equip players with the skills and mindset needed to excel in today’s fast-paced game, where recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities is crucial. Players must master INDIVIDUAL OFFENSIVE ATTACK & FINISHING MOVES to seize these moments. At this camp, we emphasize that time wasted equals opportunities lost. Our staff will teach players to quickly assess the court, the defense, and the situation to identify advantages. Once identified, campers will learn key Attack Moves and the all-important COUNTER MOVES for an effective offensive game. We don’t just want players to recognize opportunities; we want to teach them how to score! At Northridge, we believe team success hinges on individual skills, and our camp focuses on developing these essential attack and finishing moves, enabling each player to create and execute scoring opportunities effectively for his team.
Camp Objectives
- Help make players aware of advantage-disadvantage situations
- Teach players the basic permanent pivot foot (PPF) footwork from which to build a potent offensive arsenal
- Help players develop the mentality to be an aggressive offensive player
- Have players develop the confidence that they can successfully attack the defense when the opportunity presents itself
