Does your son want to learn the finer points of the lay-up, free throw, pull-up jumper, and 3-pointer? In the Basketball Shot Builder, boys learn Northridge’s “Simplified Shooting Method,” as taught by Northridge Head Coach Will Rey, a former NCAA Division 1 coach with 42 years of coaching experience. Coach Rey’s proven method is behind many team and individual shooting records at both the high school and college levels. Basketball Shot Builder is companion to Coach Rey’s other camps: Basketball Skill Builder (June 6 – 10) and Motor Skills (July 13 – 17).
WHY BASKETBALL SHOT BUILDER?
Our philosophy is players “Learn Best by Doing”. Maintaining a high energy level on the court, players will practice key shooting skills in game-like scenarios at camp. And, to help campers build on-court awareness, the camp includes instruction using video analysis of campers’ shooting form. Campers will also receive an individualized shot improvement program, a 2020 Basketball Camp t-shirt, and a Northridge Basketball Handbook. Skills and drills covered at camp include:
