We offer several options to help make Northridge affordable.
Hosting an International Student
Northridge has an international program that offers interested families the opportunity to host an international student. Tuition assistance for families participating in this program can range from $2,500 – $10,000 annually, depending on the duration of the student’s stay in their household. Northridge families find that by hosting an international student, they do not need to apply for further aid. For more information on hosting an international student, please contact Mr. Hugo Chong, Assistant Headmaster, at (847) 375-0600 ext. 432 or email@example.com.
Northridge offers two tuition discounts:
- A Sibling Discount to families with multiple children at either Northridge, the Embers or the Willows Academy. Details are explained in this document: Sibling Discount Details. Download and open this Excel file to help calculate your discount.
- A First Responder Discount of $5,000 per student, for families where the primary source of income comes from a parent employed full time as a first responder (police, fire, or paramedic).
Note: a family can apply either for a discount or financial aid (but not both). Discounts subject to change each year.
Northridge offers financial aid to families who cannot afford the full tuition. The process of applying for financial aid is separate from applying for admission to the school, because Northridge makes the two decisions independently. Grants of financial aid are based on the family’s financial need. If you would like to apply for financial aid, you should do so at the same time as you apply for admission to the school, or shortly afterwards. Note: Families who apply for financial aid receive priority in request for hosting international students. To apply for financial aid, please go to www.mytads.com, then to the “Financial Aid Assessment” box, then “Click to Log In”, and follow the process, either creating a new account or logging in to an existing account if you have one. Within the process, you will select Northridge as the school you are applying for. If you are interested in hosting an international student, or have further questions, please contact Robert Rey, Director of Admissions, at (847) 375-0600 ext. 446 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are an existing Northridge family please contact Hugo Chong, who runs the International Program, at 847.375.0600 ext. 432 or email@example.com.
Important Note: We will not give financial aid awards until a student has completed and been accepted to Northridge through the admissions process.
